It’s my anniversary today……

Five years ago today, I retired from Pasco-Hernando State College – my last full-time teaching position. I was a Professor teaching business and computer application courses. It was a bitter-sweet day as I was so looking forward to retirement while at the same time hating to leave a job and college I loved. It doesn’t seem like I retired five years ago. As I say in my speech to the graduating class – which was my last official task performed at the college – “…Time flies!”

And I currently have a life I love – personally & in my job as a REALTOR/real estate broker with my own company, Kelly Property Expert. I now live in Waycross, Georgia, and my office is in Jacksonville, Florida, which gives me a presence in both of the states where I am licensed to sell real estate.

Do I miss teaching? Yes. I loved teaching. But there does come a time to move on!

Listen to my speech. I have always been passionate in my teaching jobs …..and though I do miss teaching, I put my teaching skills to use with people I serve in my real estate profession, a profession I am also passionate about.
